The CamelOne event is designed for enterprise users who use open source integration and messaging solution, according to FuseSource president Larry Alston, president.

The CamelOne event will offer keynote presentations, educational sessions and networking events so attendees can meet, learn and share ideas with open source integration experts.

CamelOne comes as more and more enterprises are choosing to bring open source options into their core mission-critical middleware framework.  “Enterprises across industries and around the world are deploying open source integration and messaging solutions to reduce costs and drive business value,” Alston said in a statement.

As part of the agenda, CamelOne attendees  will:

  • Learn Best Practices from representatives of enterprises deploying open source integration and messaging solutions,
  • Hear from leaders of the Apache Software Foundation, notably from ASF’s key integration and messaging projects.
  • Network with a community of their peers who have made open source a critical part of their computing infrastructure.
  • Take part in training sessions for Apache ServiceMix, Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Camel and Apache CXF.

“With the successes enterprises are having with Apache Software Foundation projects, now is the perfect time for CamelOne.”
