Gartner Holds Business Continuity Summit in April

Gartner's Business Continuity Management Summit will be held on April 27-29 in Chicago. During the event, attendees will receive strategic and tactical guidance to help them build recovery, continuity, and continuous availability capacity for end-to-end enterprise applications.

Gartner's Business Continuity Management Summit will be held on April 27-29 in Chicago. During the event, attendees will receive strategic and tactical guidance to help them build recovery, continuity, and continuous availability capacity for end-to-end enterprise applications.

Gartner calls business continuity management (BCM) "particularly important…in the current market," noting that overall financial uncertainty around the world as many companies are freezing capital purchases and not moving forward with important business initiatives.

Gartner's BCM Summit will help attendees answer the following questions:

  • How do I ensure that my BCM program addresses the right risks for my organization?
  • How do I make the right technology choices for business recovery?
  • Which vendor is the best choice for my specific situation?
  • Do I outsource recovery or do it myself?
  • How do I change my BCM program to reflect and support a global organization?
  • What are the steps, methodologies, tests that I should use to recover critical business operations correctly, consistently and with the cooperation of all the various parts of the organization?
