The liberty profile is a new, dynamic profile of the WebSphere Application server that loads only the features that are required for the deployed applications. It has a small footprint, fast start time and highly dynamic behavior. The configuration is small, simple and flexible, allowing very fast time-to-value. Production deployments are efficient and flexible with a new 'embedded server' option.
