Cleveland Golf Drives Integration with Magic Software’s iBOLT
PGA golf equipment maker Cleveland Golf/Srixon is using Magic Software Enterprises solutions to bring more automation to integration of data and business processes between its ecommerce and ERP systems.
PGA golf equipment maker Cleveland Golf/Srixon is using Magic Software Enterprises solutions to bring more automation to integration of data and business processes between its ecommerce and ERP systems.
In specific, Cleveland Golf/Srixon will use Magic Software's iBOLT Integration Suite to run its business processes, as well as to integrate its Shopatron eCommerce and J.D. Edwards ERP applications. Cleveland Golf officials cited Magic’s data transformation, messaging and routing capabilities for IBM Power7 Systems for IBM i.
Magic Software’s iBOLT is based on a ‘metadata engine,’ which provides pre-written technical and administrative functions and services, which allows users to avoid intensive code-writing and more quickly move from design to test and deployment.
According to Charles Chamberlain, Cleveland Golf’s Director of Information Technology, Magic Software provided the company stable interface platform, enabling his company to integrate, interface and deliver the information needed by its employees, management and customers, according to. “We needed a better way to automate the integration between our distribution system and our electronic commerce systems supporting the online market,” Chamberlain added said in a statement.
Inside Magic Software’s iBOLT
iBOLT is designed to provide code-free integration, using a library of adapters, wizards, services and methods for design=time and runtime integration of business processes and data resources.
The tool’s “drag-and drop” capabilities allow users to create simple and complex business processes by configuring parameters, to replace complex and costly coding according to Regev Yativ, CEO of Magic Software Enterprises Americas. iBOLT’s graphical business flow editor is also designed to allow IT and non-IT users to easily and intuitively configure end-to-end business processes across systems and departments. Once configured, the suite also allows users to test before deployment, as well as launch for runtime.
Specific iBOLT’s suite of technologies includes:

- Customized connectors with open standards-based development framework,
- Services and deployment module to simplify orchestration (with logging, recovery, inter-system messaging, and routing)

Magic Software will offer its technical support and services to help the company implement its integration projects, Yativ added.
