ZY Solutions develops BI systems using tools from MicroStrategy, Sybase, Microsoft, Longview Solutions, and Visual Crossing for clients across a number of vertical sectors – including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, insurance, distribution, packaged goods, and financial services.
ZY Solutions also offers ZY Vision GP and ZY Vision AX, BI systems that support reporting, analysis and searching of Dynamics GP and AX data, officials said. The system includes a self-service reporting tool that gives organizations visibility into operational data across thee enterprise.
Companies increasingly want to push their BI solutions beyond dashboards that provide historical data, and need to analyze real-time streaming data from message buses and external data service providers, according to David Fretwell, CEO at ZY Solutions. Tapping into these multiple data sources can make it difficult to use traditional reporting tools, he added.
With ZY Solutions working with Panopticon, the company can access critical OLAP and data visualization capabilities that will support a powerful front end that uses the entire BI implementation, Fretwell said in a statement.
Panopticon offers the following BI and analytics solutions:
Pre-trade Analytics Systems -- to help managers in capital markets firms understand anticipated trade risk, cost, return, and P&L. The company has built such a solution integrating the Sybase IQ column-oriented database with its EX visual data analytics platform.
Event BI and Visualization -- to allow users to incorporate “streams” from Complex Event Processing (CEP) engines into their analytical dashboards. The result is real-time visualization, even of the most complicated multi-step processes and activities. . The solution also lets customers combine CEP data with information from other streams (internal, third-party, real-time and historical)
Real-Time & Predictive Dashboards -- customers can connect allow users to create real-time interactive Treemaps and Heat Maps to provide data visualizations to a variety of end users. The display updates are enabled by the company’s suite of dashboard tools that let companies connect dashboards to real-time message buses.
