Further, BEA has supplemented tie-ins between the two products, providing IT a more unified view of IT and business resources that go into the mission-critical design of services for an ESB or SOA.

Notably, BEA is bundling and making available for the first time WebLogic Integration with BEA AquaLogic Service Bus. The combined offering, dubbed BEA AquaLogic Integrator, the combined offering will provide service-enabled process integration and service mediation in one package.
"Tying together the views of architecture and business resources helps not only with design and deployment, but also with manageability," said Kelly Emo, BEA product marketing director. ALSB 6.2 also brings integration with many UDDIv3-compliant service registries, allowing the bus to automatically update with changes.
